Travel Requirements & Other Important Info
- Currently Peru does not require proof of COVID-19 vaccination of all visitors. Recommended vaccinations include Yellow Fever (although we aren't going to the Amazon rainforest so it's less important)

- Evidence of proof of onward travel (return ticket)
- To see up-to-date travel requirements and restrictions for Peru, go here
- For this particular trip, you should have a good fitness level and be able to hike 5-10 miles a day for the trek portion of the trip. The most challenging aspect of the trek is the altitude. While the Lares trek has lower altitude than some of the other treks to Machu Picchu, you may still feel the affects of the altitude. (See the FAQ's below for more info on the trek and tips.)
